At my friend's husband's graduation in Charlotte today (see pic of Megha and I above), a little girl looked intently at me and waved like she knew me. Then she and her parents walked over. She remembered my entire name and that I was a missionary to Thailand. I spoke to her school a couple months back and she remembered me! Wow. It's like being spotted as a celebrity. I can't believe she remembered me.

One of our babysitters is getting married in July and her fiancee's parents are missionaries in Thailand. I told John at lunch and Alexandra (the oldest) piped up with "Like Miss Melanie?". I just thought that you would want to know.
You are a celebrity! You are known pretty much everywhere we go! Its a great thing, she remembered you and looked up to you!
