Daydreaming at the Soiree

My friends were standing around in a circle at the Summer Soiree I went to tonight discussing recent beach trips. One family loved rinsing themselves off outside the whole week instead of going inside for showers. That conversation had my mind daydreaming back to Thailand. It took me back to the outside showers on the Mahathai Beach Retreat last summer. The kids were so tickled with the outside showers, we could hardly get them to go anything else. They had the showers running for so long, the water streamed across the sand in all directions. The kids then started crafting canal paths for the water. I wanted to tell them to turn off the water...but I couldn't for a while. What a good memory.
