"Which is easier: to say, 'Your sins are forgiven,' or to say, 'Get up and walk?'? But that you may know that the Son of Man has authority on earth to forgive sins..." -Luke 5:22-23
Five gals and one boy came. We read about the four friends who opened up a roof to let their paralytic friend down to be healed by Jesus. Here in Thailand, many believe in bad karma even from past lives that causes bad things to happen in your present life. Good Biblical Truths do speak about how we are all sinners, equally in need of Jesus Christ! The girls responded to those truths with few words but very contemplative faces.
I did bring up Jesus's question (shown above). B., a first-time visitor to my group but a member of our church, answered that forgiving sins is harder. Grateful for her voice in the group.
Would love your prayers for me as I explore the idea of a boy's bible study group too and the efforts to find a guy to help. Two boys have expressed interest. Please also pray for me as a couple Thai teammates have expressed interest in helping me lead the girls' group and visitation. May God help me introduce them to my ministry and be vulnerable and wise in showing where God is leading me.
