As we walked down the market last week, my friend Fon screamed "Snack!" I looked around confused, and calmed her by saying "If you're hungry, we can eat a snack." After much confusion on both sides, she repeated again, "Snack!" and pointed ahead down the market. I finally looked more closely ahead of us....
Snake! Fon was afraid of the snake-handler ahead of us at the market! How hilarious. I laughed so much. She stayed behind about a mile, while I walked over and the snake-handler put the snake around my neck to hold for three dollars. Oh, the wonderful world of languages.
