This weekend our church has our first church camp! I believe there's 70 or so people (including staff), though only about 3 are regular members, the rest know our team somehow and have or have not visited our church yet. We are offering a few tracks from an Intro to Christianity to more of a discipleship class.
One person coming that I'm especially excited about is Fam, my Vietnamese friend we met on our trip to Vietnam. If you've been tracking with my posts, me and my two friends met her husband's whole family on a boat while we were visiting Vietnam. She and her Thai husband "happen" to live in the same apartment as one of our teammates who was traveling with me. Since then, we've kept up a great relationship with them. Fam and her husband, A, speak English excellently. Catherine, my teammate, and I has gotten chances to talk with them about Christianity and give them a Bible. Now, Fam is coming on our retreat this weekend! There are many great stories like that to share, about how God introduced different people to us.
Please pray for this weekend, for relationship-building, and for people to know Christ as their personal Savior.
